Well, it isn't really, it just looks like it. Grant talked me into a deep red for the walls and we chose a shade and started painting. [pause to hyperventilate] It's very dramatic and I think I will love it when the kitchen is done (with the white units and black worktops), but it's a bit of a shock as it goes on because it's so bold. I'm not loving the stupid Crown washable matt that we have, it doesn't go on very well. I'll definitely be finishing up with Dulux soft sheen, which is fabulous paint.
Grant has started working on the decking and our worktops were delivered. We also bought our kitchen radiator, which has to be installed before we can start the units, which arrive on Thursday.
