A weekend's work

As usual we've been busy this weekend. On Saturday we bought the coving and light fitting for the bathroom, deep red paint for the front door and ordered the windows for Noah's room and the bathroom (can I say OUCH at the price since they're not standard sizes).

As promised, here are some pics of the latest work:

I think I've finished painting the inside of the front door (it's now had 1 coat of primer and 3 coats of satin). It looks so much better! So fresh and clean and it bounces loads of light back into the hallway.

Here are some shots of the bits I've painted in Noah's room - not sure how true the colour is in these pics. I am disappointed that I didn't get a chance to finish painting this weekend, but maybe it's just as well since all the plaster around his window has to be ripped out to install the new one in a few weeks' time when it arrives.

Here's the drywalling in the bathroom - we still have to tape and skim the joints obviously. Grant moved the light pull from behind the door to the left of the door, and the light fitting to the middle of the room.
