We were sad to say goodbye to Grant's parents on Friday night after a lovely visit from them. We've spent the weekend getting on top of things at home - the house is a disaster area and as usual after a holiday we're having some behaviour issues with Daniel to iron out. My work is insane at the moment with photography and web design clients, which is a good thing but of course throws up the challenge of keeping a balance and fitting everything in.
I am feeling the DIY itch again and have big plans for the hallway which include strippping all the wallpaper, removing the very badly installed dado rail, evening out the walls and painting a light steel blue. Not sure when I'll be able to fit it in though! Grant is very busy preparing for his final interview in the police recruitment process, so he won't be tackling any DIY until that's over.
