My wedding photographs

I have a confession.

I have been married for 12 years, 8 months, 2 weeks and 2 days and my wedding photos are still not in an album.

I'm sorry, I know that's hard to hear. Especially since I am a scrapbooker and a photographer. Remember, I'm also a perfectionist, so for years I was crippled by OH MY GOODNESS, I HAVE TO CHOOSE THE PERFECT ALBUM which resulted in not buying any. (For the remaining time I've been crippled by OH MY GOODNESS, I HAVE NO MONEY).

Well, today I woke up at 7:43am and while attempting to go back to sleep (since the kids were, miraculously, still aslumber ... oh wait, the bedtime after 10pm might have something to do with it) my wedding pictures popped into my head. Then I was all, "The pictures are in a tin box in the cellar ... I hope the damp hasn't gotten into the box!" And then there was no hope of getting back to sleep (slim chance anyway - when I'm awake, I'm awake) because I HAD to get down to the cellar and check out the pictures because yes, an extra half hour in bed would make all the difference to the safety of those 12-year-old prints.

I'm fun that way.

Aaaaaaanyway, I have rescued said prints (they're fine) and plan to use my sample
wedding album (that I used for work) as my personal wedding album if I can get the sample pics out without destroying the pages. (Because I am freeeeee and never shooting a wedding ever again, wheeeeeee!!!)

And speaking of free ... if I use an album that's already lying around here, I don't need to spend anything. And that overrides any desire for perfection.

Besides, my standards have dropped after 12 years of marriage.

I'll let you know how it goes.
