The best thing since ...

In our move toward things more natural and frugal we've been making our own bread. Oh shut up, you won't catch me kneading dough, my breadmaker does all of the work. Anyway, we've been trying different recipes to try to find a loaf that is the right size for us and doesn't go stale before we can finish it and that is tasty and a lovely texture. And we found it! This recipe is divine, it makes a beautiful loaf that tastes great and is so soft and just right for sandwiches.

Bread 1

Softest white bread
1 cup warm water
2 tablespoons white sugar
¼ cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon salt
3 cups bread flour
1 package bread machine yeast

Add ingredients to breadmaker in order of manufacturer's directions. Run standard white loaf cycle, light crust. Let cool completely before slicing.

P.S. Does the colour look screwy in these pics? I think Noah has been messing with my monitor settings, aargh!
