Jewellery organising

I just thought I'd share how I organise my jewellery. You may have noticed a couple of boxes in my bathroom cabinet (bottom right):

They are bead organisers and they're perfect for containing rings, pendants and earrings. You can buy them at most craft stores.

Then if you turn around and look at the side of the shower cubicle ...

... you'll see a set of over-door hooks. This is where I store my necklaces and hoop earrings.

My bracelets are stored in, you guessed it, a plastic punnet in my chest of drawers.

How do you store your jewellery? And do you love necklaces as much as I do?

  1. Aw! I can't see the pictures! :( I keep my jewelry in a armoire that my got gave me for Christmas years ago. And yes, I have a necklace addiction also. :)

  2. I use mug trees, I have a couple of metal ones on my dressing table, handy for bracelets and necklaces. Earrings I keep in a long, shallow jewellery box. Anything expensive is safely stashed away somewhere else!

  3. Yes, I think I love necklaces as much as you. lol I hang mine on some small Ikea Blecka hooks. (I have about 15 lined up in 3 rows in the space behind my bedroom door.) I use a pretty white mug and hook my earring on the edge all the way around. And a tiny asymmetrical bowl for earring studs. (I don't have many of those.)

  4. I am going to buy bead organizers today. We are always losing earrings around here, and with four girls in the house, it's getting worse by the day.

Thanks for all your fantastic ideas!

  5. I love necklaces and have so many of them that I don't know what to do with them. Probably twice a year, I go through the collection and donate a few just to get them replaced by the more current in-style pieces. I even did a little post about how I manage my jewelry as well.
