But did you notice accidental the bleach spots? Aargh!

So I chucked the whole thing into a plastic tub with some water and a whole lot of bleach for a few hours, agitating it with a plastic handled scrubbing brush now and again. The whole top bleached to match the bleach spots - voila, a new orange top!

It's not perfectly evenly bleached but I don't think anyone will notice when I'm wearing it.
That's pretty cool!
ReplyDeleteSo Cool!
ReplyDeleteWHOA! I would have tossed it out.......great idea!!
ReplyDeleteLoving the orange too.
I never would have thought to try that--what a great idea!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I thought it was worth a try since the top was ruined anyway.

ReplyDeleteI thought about doing this to a top that I have. I love it and it killed me when it got splashed with bleach. Now, I'm not afraid to bleach the whole thing. Thanks for an awesome post.
