I forgot to mention that we went to church on Sunday. It was interesting to see our new ward (congregation) - I'd be surprised if even a fifth of the ward was white! Besides the Maori members we have people from Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, Cambodia, Polynesia and I don't even know where else.
It is going to be so interesting to find out about different cultures and get to know people from such interesting places. And to experience being a minority for once. An enriching experience for sure.
