Oh my gosh, I've received the Brilliante Weblog Premio award The Goddess of Domestics (wouldn't you be flattered?) What an honour, I've been blogging since December 2005 and it's my first award.
I'm supposed to pass the award on to 7 of my favourite blog writers, and I agonised over this for ages. I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings by leaving them out, but with ... ahem ... 341 feeds in my feedreader (NO, they're not all blogs!!) it is pretty hard to narrow down to just 7 that I enjoy. But I'll try to pick 7 out and I hope you enjoy them too:
1) Deez Dayz by my cousin Di, because she posts pretty often, she posts lots of pictures, she is an inspiration to me and who can resist photos of the divine Miss Phillipa.
2) All Things G&D by D (she doesn't reveal her real name, how clandestine!) because I love her decorating and clothing style, she is a frequent commenter on my blog (which I love) and because I think she needs some love with that lesion on her face (sorry D, I couldn't resist!)
3) All The World by my oldest friend Leith ... er, not that she's old, but it's my longest-running friendship (almost 30 years!) because I miss her madly and love to read any snippets of her life that she shares.
4) Desire to Inspire by Jo and Kim for posting amazing and inspiring interiors pictures, and lots of them and often. Lots of eye candy if, like me, you are obsessed with interiors pictures.
5) Woulda Coulda Shoulda by Mir because her writing is upbeat and witty and she is an inspiration for all she's gone through with more grace than she credits herself for. And because she is a total inspiration in the motherhood department.
6) The Creative Junkie by Andy because this is the latest blog to be added to my feedreader because she is absolutely hilarious!!
7) One Thing by Jenni because this Christian mom of 12 children (!) writes so beautifully - she's honest, funny and charming and her testimony and faith are an inspiration to me.
