Christmas tree cupcakes
These are the cupcakes I made for the ward (church) Christmas social. The trees are fondant. I usually just buy white paper cases but bought some red and white polka dot ones for a change.

ReplyDeleteI use this recipe buttercream -
1 cup butter
4 cups confectioners' sugar (icing sugar)
1 tablespoon vanilla extract / flavouring
milk added tablespoon by tablespoon as the frosting blends, until correct consistency

ReplyDeleteFab! I'll have to write that down to use in my next efforts. I am addicted to making buns at the moment! I've been doing buttercream, but just banging butter and icing sugar together willy nilly. Ha ha! :o)

Very very cute. And why am I not surprised that even the sprinkles are perfect?! I just bought Mia a little package of fondant for her stocking--she's going to have so much fun! I'll have to show her these!
